Raw nuts and seeds are rich in protein, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals.
Cacao is rich in magnesium, iron, copper, manganese and riboflavin.
Cinnamon helps to regulate blood sugar and can boost brain activity.
1 cup of raw nuts eg: almonds, walnuts cashews (or a combination)
½ cup of seeds – linseed, hemp, sunflower, pumpkin (or a combination)
½ cup of shredded coconut
12 fresh dates, pitted 2 generous tablespoons of raw cacao ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon Pinch of salt
Extra coconut or cacao for rolling
Put all of the ingredients into your blender and blend until combined.
This can vary depending on your blender but should take from 30-60 seconds.
When ready the mixture should be combined and have an glossy appearance.
Roll into 24 bite size balls.
Roll in coconut or cacao.
Store in the fridge or freezer for 1 month.
